Club Royal Pool is in need of repairs this fall in order to continue operation. Please consider donating to keep it going!
Club Royal Pool is a not quite rectangular pool that begins at 2 ft. near the shallow end and goes to 9 ft. at the deep end. The pool does not always have lifeguards on duty, but our instructors are trained and licensed in Lifeguarding with the Red Cross.
Weather
Lightning Policy: Click HERE to check for Lightning nearby. It is the Tortugas Swim School's policy to notify the parents or guardians of the students of lightning if it is within 10 miles of the pool if it may impact an upcoming class. The school suspends lessons and recommends taking shelter in an enclosed area like your car (with windows rolled up) in the event of lightning nearby. More than likely a lesson in progress will be ended or canceled. The school may reopen 30 minutes after the last lightning strike if more than half of the lesson time is still available.
